I have worked as an educator in both the private and public sector. I have a wealth of experience creating, developing, and delivering curriculum. During my time in education I have improved my skills in: project management, data collection and reporting, facilitating meetings and professional trainings with staff, and both verbal and written communication.
I am also a member of my current school's faculty leadership team where we collaborate with staff to improve school policies and create an enriching environment for all staff and students. My additional responsibilities in this team are to design and present professional learning experiences for staff to improve teaching practices based on current educational policies and research, as well as current school and district goals.
To further my education, I completed coursework through the IDOL (Instructional Design and Online Learning) Academy to learn functional skills for instructional design. Through the course I have had the ability to create learning aides such as infographics and animated videos. Furthermore, I planned, designed, and built online coursework through the Articulate Rise Learning Management System (LMS).
The most recent of my accomplishments has been obtaining my Master's Degree in Educational Technology and Instructional Design through Western Governors University. I completed an accelerated program while working full time, learning a deeper understanding of theory behind instructional design, culminating in the design and implementation of my own online course.
